Allied health research collaboration funding

Excellence in allied health research is essential and underpins the provision of high quality health care and evidence-based practice for all South Australians.

In order to promote research that improves patient outcomes, the University of South Australia (UniSA) and The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) provide research grant funding, in collaboration with the Allied and Scientific Health Office (ASHO) for eligible Allied Health Professionals in South Australia.

2020 collaboration funding scheme

On behalf of our UniSA and THRF partners ASHO is pleased to announce that the grant scheme is open again for 2020 (for funding into 2021).

As for previous years the grant criteria require investigators to include allied and scientific health professionals from both UniSA and SA Health, and must be geared towards direct patient impact. Further criteria can be found in the guidelines (PDF 239KB), along with the application form (DOCX 115KB). Applications closed 18 September 2020. No late applications will be accepted.

All the best for this initiative and our thanks to UniSA and THRF for funding once again.
