South Australian Suicide Prevention Community Grants Scheme
Community grants to support individuals and organisations undertake activities or projects that are specifically designed to address the needs of their local community.
A key element of the South Australian approach to suicide prevention is the establishment of Suicide Prevention Networks within the local community. A Network is formed through the collaborative efforts of the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist, Local Government and the community.
The establishment of each Network raises awareness, increases compassionate conversation and breaks down stigma associated with mental illness and suicide.
