Draft YNLHN 2021-2023 Reconciliation Action Plan

Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN) are pleased to release the Draft YNLHN 2021-2023 Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) (PDF 1MB), which is now open for your feedback.

Yorke and Northern Local Health Network believe that reconciliation is an important step towards building positive and enriching relationships with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The process of reconciliation is an ongoing journey that involves commitment and collaboration.

The YNLHN Innovate RAP focuses on:

  • Developing mutually beneficial relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people based on trust and respect.
  • Working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and promoting and celebrating indigenous cultures.
  • Seeking to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with opportunities through targeted recruitment and culturally inclusive practices, and
  • working closely with the Reconciliation Action Plan Committee and reporting all RAP activity and progress to YNLHN Board and Reconciliation Australia.

The consultation process is open until Wednesday, 5 May 2021.

Expressions of Interest for Aboriginal Artwork

To finalise the Reconciliation Action Plan, the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network are seeking expressions of interest for artwork that will be used in the Reconciliation Action plan, as well as Yorke and Northern Local Health Network resources and other documents.

The artwork will be selected by the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network Reconciliation Working Group.
