SALHN COVID Care Centre
The SALHN COVID Care Centre provides face to face assessment and care for adult patients and patients 16 years and over with COVID-19, including pregnant women, who are not expected to require overnight hospital admission.
This includes patients with COVID related clinical concerns, and patients who are COVID positive and have unrelated clinical concerns, such as other illness, minor injury or care coordination needs.
The COVID Care Centre has access to pathology, radiology, ECGs, specialty teams such as Obstetrics, minor procedures, as well as other SAHLN services.
The COVID Care Centre also administers Monoclonal Antibody Infusions (MAB) and other IV and oral treatments to COVID-19 outpatients.
Transport to and from the COVID Care Centre can also be arranged, if required.
Access to the COVID Care Centre is by referral only.

- For COVID-19 adult patient referrals, call the SAHLN COVID Care Centre Duty GP Consultant on 0479 188 527 from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, 7 days a week.
- Phone referrals are accepted from GPAT, CRCT, SAAS, SA VCS, ED, Community GPs, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Clinical Nurses and other community and hospital Specialists and Specialty Teams.
- If your patient is between 16-40+ weeks pregnant, please call the Obstetric COVID Clinician on 8204 7898.
- To access MAB infusions, visit Monoclonal Antibody Infusion Application for COVID-19 Positive Patients | SA Health. A clinical criteria must be met for MAB Infusions.
The COVID Care Centre is located adjacent to the Northern Entrance at Flinders Medical Centre. Access is via a dedicated external entrance.
