The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network’s (RMCLHN) Riverland Academy of Clinical Excellence (RACE) is hosting its RACE Research Day in the Riverland on Wednesday 9 September 2026.
The conference will comprise research presentations, workshops and an optional conference dinner.
The aim of the conference is to bring together clinicians, researchers, trainees, and students to share emerging ideas, highlight local innovation, and strengthen multidisciplinary connections.
It will also be a valuable opportunity to get together to network and discuss best practice and exciting opportunities related to rural healthcare and clinical excellence.

Call for abstracts
The call for abstracts is open now and the deadline for submission has been extended to Friday 5 June 2026.
Abstracts should align with the conference theme: Driving clinical excellence through innovation, quality improvement and research translation.
The presentation modality for abstracts can comprise speed presentations and oral presentations. Abstract details regarding each of these presentations is outlined below:
- Speed presentations (5 minutes + 5 minutes for questions)
- Oral presentations (10 minutes + 5 minutes for questions).
