Our Mission and Vision

RACE was created to link clinical education and research to frontline clinical care in rural communities. We are committed to achieving excellence in rural health care through the application of context specific health care research and education.

Our mission is to provide a welcoming, reputable, and collaborative home for individuals and teams to lead research activities that will benefit the health of rural, regional, and remote communities.

Our vision is that RACE is recognised as a globally renowned academy that integrates research, education, and clinical practice to drive innovation and transformation in rural, regional, and remote health networks for the benefit of the community.

To accelerate access to research funding and enable excellence in research for priority populations and research topics.
