Local kids give a shout out to their healthcare heros!
30 June 2025
During June, NALHN was delighted to host artwork from almost 300 primary school students from the northern Adelaide community. Students from Elizabeth Grove Primary School and Elizabeth Vale Primary School have been busy making some colourful art pieces in honour of our healthcare workers.
The ‘My Healthcare Hero’ artwork displays brightened up our clinical corridors of Modbury Hospital and the Lyell McEwin Hospital and certainly made our staff smile!
Cassie Bell, Acting Nurse Unit Manager said it was delightful viewing the display on the way to start her shift in the Children’s Ward.
“Reading all of the messages of support from local kids and admiring the fantastic drawings is a lovely way to start my day.”
The artwork is on display for the month of June and recognises the important role that healthcare workers play to keep our everyone in our community healthy.
