The Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) Governing Board has approved the extension of the LCLHN Strategic Plan 2021-2025, the LCLHN Consumer, Carer and Community Engagement Strategy 2021-2024 and the LCLHN Clinician and Staff Engagement Strategy 2021-2024 until 30 June 2026.

We will continue to implement the priorities of these key strategic documents while refined strategies for 2026 and beyond are developed.

Strategic Plan

Engagement Strategies

The LCLHN aims to be an effective and forward-thinking health network that anticipates challenges, embraces change and most importantly, meets the needs of our consumers, carers and community.

The LCLHN Consumer, Carer and Community Engagement Strategy 2021-2024 (PDF 12MB) demonstrates our commitment to partnering with consumers, carers and the community in the planning, design and delivery of our services.

As part of this, we recognise the diversity within our region, whether within our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population, our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities or in analysing the differing chronic healthcare conditions experienced by many within our community.

This strategy operates alongside the LCLHN Clinician and Staff Engagement Strategy 2021-2024 (PDF 8.1MB) which aims to capture what our clinicians and staff have told us they need to be more effectively informed, involved, and able to influence decision-making. The strategy also incorporates a commitment to identify a strengthened process for engaging with our many valued volunteers.

Our engagement strategies form a critical part of the network’s strategic direction and are aligned with the Strategic Plan.
