Are you interested in finding out what is happening with your health service and having a say on local health issues?

The EFNLHN Community Network is a way for our community to become involved in local and regional health services.

Our Community Network members - including individuals and groups (agencies, government or non-government organisations, community groups, committees) - provide us with important consumer views about new ideas, projects or developments that impact the care we provide.

You can choose your level of involvement:

  • Be informed - Keep me informed with general health service information. (Newsletters, health information or engagement opportunities)
  • Be consulted - Provide feedback on health service publications, participate in surveys and interviews related to service development and improvement.
  • Be involved - Assist in reflecting the diversity of the local community through participation in focus/reference groups as a consumer representative, providing input into the planning, design and evaluation of health care services.
  • Consumer advisor - A partner in design and governance. A member on a health service committee, or local Health Advisory Council. Share views/experiences to assist in workforce training and education.

How do I get involved?

To join the Community Network, complete the EFNLHN Community Network Registration Form online.

Let us know your preferred level of involvement by ticking the relevant boxes.

Once you have registered, we will send you regular newsletters and updates.

Depending on the level of involvement you choose, we may also ask for your feedback and invite you to forums to provide feedback on a range of subjects including health information, service re-design, and planning for the future.
