Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network Strategic Plan 2026-2030
Shaping the future of health care to better support the consumers and communities we serve.
Why we’re developing a new Strategic Plan
Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) is developing a new Strategic Plan to clearly set out our priorities, goals, and pathways for improving health outcomes across our region.
This work will help ensure we are:
- delivering safe, high-quality, and accessible care
- meeting the changing needs of our communities
- supporting and strengthening our workforce
- planning for future growth and innovation
- using our resources effectively and sustainably.
The plan will guide our decisions and priorities over the coming years.
Consultation process
Over six weeks, from 30 January to 13 March, consumers, external partners, community members, and staff shared their views through surveys, workshops, and other engagement activities as part of consultation for the 2026–2030 BHFLHN Strategic Plan.
More than 1000 people contributed to the process by completing a survey and/or attending a consultation session, either online or in-person.
All feedback will now be collated and carefully analysed to ensure the Strategic Plan reflects the insights, priorities, and experiences of those who work within, partner with, and rely on our services.
Updates will be shared as the Strategic Plan takes shape, keeping the community informed throughout the process.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate. Your input is invaluable in shaping a strong and sustainable future for our health network and the communities we serve.
