15 November 2020
Good evening everyone.
As many of you may be aware we have had a COVID-19 outbreak emerge over the past 24 hours here in South Australia. The team at SA Health have been working non-stop to trace and test any links. I must stress how important it is to test or refer any patients who have even the mildest of symptoms for testing. If you have a patient who is concerned that they may need to isolate having attended the LMH or another site, then please tell them to isolate and await further advice from CDCB or through public health alerts.
Lyell McEwin ED
SA Health is in the process of contacting people who were in the Emergency Department at Lyell McEwin Hospital between 5.30pm Friday 13 November and 4.00am Saturday 14 November who may have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. However, anyone who was at the Emergency Department during these hours and has not been contacted by SA Health should self-quarantine immediately and contact SA COVID-19 Information Line on 1800 253 787.
Anyone who visited Parafield Plaza Supermarket on Thursday 12 November between 10.30 am and 11.30 am does not need to self-quarantine but should monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if symptoms appear.
The list of locations can be found at www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/COVIDcontacttracing.
