Special Purpose Funds Classification Policy

The Special Purpose Finds Classification Policy (PDF 368KB) provides the mandatory requirements in relation to the classification requirements, and the key financial governance principles to recognise and effectively manage Special Purpose Funds (SPFs). This policy aligns with the Treasurer’s Instructions (TIs), Australian Accounting Standards Board, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
Applicability
This policy applies to all employees and contracted staff of SA Health; that is all employees and contracted staff of the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW), Local Health Networks (LHNs) including state-wide services aligned with those Networks and SA Ambulance Service (SAAS).
Specifically, this policy applies to all employees and contracted staff who are involved in the delivery of SPF projects within SA Health.
