Induction and Orientation Policy

The Induction and Orientation Policy (PDF 223KB) sets out the mandatory requirements for the induction and orientation of new and transferring employees through SA Health’s adoption of the Direction of the Premier of South Australia – Induction issued under section 10 of the Public Sector Act 2009 and Guideline of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment - Induction.

Applicability

This policy applies to all employees and contracted staff of SA Health irrespective of level, position or employment status; that is all employees and contracted staff of the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW), Local Health Networks (LHNs) including state-wide services aligned with those Networks and SA Ambulance Service (SAAS).
