Health Care Act 2008 Part 7 Committees and Activities Policy

The Health Care Act 2008 Part 7 Committees and Activities Policy (PDF 288KB) provides the mandatory requirements to ensure a uniform approach to the establishment and operation of authorised committees, person/s and activities declared under Part 7, section 64 of the Health Care Act 2008 (SA) across SA Health.

Applicability

This policy applies to all employees and contracted staff of SA Health; that is all employees and contracted staff of the Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW), Local Health Networks (LHNs) including state-wide services aligned with those Networks and SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) and Preventive Health SA.

Specifically, this policy applies to all SA Health employees and contracted staff who are members of, or provide support to, a committee or working group/group of persons, whose activity is authorised under Part 7 of the Health Care Act 2008.
