SA Health Register of Authorised Pharmacists
The SA Health Register of Authorised Pharmacists is a publicly accessible, searchable register of pharmacists authorised to provide Community Pharmacy Expanded Scope of Practice services in South Australia. You can search by pharmacist’s surname, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) registration number, or prescriber number.
If a search returns no results, the pharmacist is not currently authorised to provide Community Pharmacy Expanded Scope of Practice services in South Australia, including the prescribing of certain Prescription Only Medicines.
Only pharmacists included on the SA Health Register of Authorised Pharmacists are permitted to provide Community Pharmacy Expanded Scope of Practice services in South Australia, including the prescribing of certain Prescription Only Medicines. To be included on the SA Health Register of Authorised Pharmacists, pharmacists must meet the requirements outlined in Regulation 17A of the Controlled Substances (Poisons) Regulations 2011 and Community Pharmacist Prescribing Code and apply for authorisation.
