How to provide feedback
Where appropriate, we encourage you to provide feedback directly to the community pharmacist or pharmacy that provided the service.
We encourage consumer and health professional feedback via the usual mechanisms, including speaking with the pharmacist to obtain any further information you would like to help manage your health condition or medicines, or to clarify any questions or concerns you may have.
Depending on the nature of your feedback, the following reporting pathways may be appropriate:
- Concerns about an individual pharmacist’s practice or professional conduct should be directed to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
- Complaints about the service received at a community pharmacy or in relation to a pharmacy business should be directed to the Pharmacy Regulation Authority SA.
- Issues relating to a side effect, reaction, or other problem with a medicine or medical device should be reported to the Therapeutic Goods Administration. If you experience a side effect or adverse reaction, seek advice from your health practitioner.
- Criminal matters should be reported to the South Australian Police.
