Clinical Prioritisation Criteria Consumer Engagement Group
Role and function of the Consumer Engagement Group
The Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC) are developed by clinicians for use by referring health practitioners, often General Practitioners (GP), to help referrals into the South Australian public hospital system based on clinical criteria. The CPC will be publicly available and support consumers knowledge of the criteria to access public specialist OP services. The establishment of the CEG is therefore a key element in ensuring the success of the CPC project.
The initial purpose of the CEG is to provide consumer feedback on the delivery of the CPC Project and website development in collaboration with the OP Redesign Project Team. This will help to ensure the information and end user experience is:
- User friendly
- Easy to navigate, and
- Provides easy to understand content
