Arts in Health at FMC
Arts in Health at FMC is a program at Flinders Medical Centre working to enhance the hospital environment by making it a warmer and more welcoming place to visit.
By offering a broad range of performance, music and visual arts activities that support patient recovery, Arts in Health at FMC promotes health and wellbeing in patients, staff and visitors.
The program, established in 1996, is one of the largest hospital-based arts in health programs in Australia, with a national and international reputation for high quality and innovative programming.

Arts in Health at FMC is run by a committed team of arts managers, artists and art therapists who work across all wards and public areas of the hospital providing performance-based and interactive arts activities, and responding to specific patient referrals and requests.
