Accident and emergency
The 24-hour emergency service is staffed by a registered nurse who offers assessment and treatment and a doctor is available on call. The hospital has a volunteer ambulance service and access to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Franklin Harbour Village provides low to medium level residential care for older people in a home-like environment. Higher level care is provided at the hospital, adjacent to Franklin Harbour Village. Respite care is available at the hospital.
