Dental services for adults

SA Dental Service provides a range of dental services to eligible adults at community clinics throughout South Australia  

Who is eligible?

Holders of a current Pensioner Concession Card (Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs) or a Health Care Card. You need to bring your concession card to all appointments.

Department of Veteran's Affairs Card holders may be eligible for treatment with Veteran Dental Services. Contact the Department of Veterans' Affairs information line on 133 254.

Waiting times 

Waiting times apply for some dental treatment. Waiting times will be discussed with you when you call to make an appointment.

Costs

There is a cost for dental care at SA Dental Service community dental clinics.The cost is the same at all clinics. Costs will be discussed with you before treatment starts.

Interpreters

If you need an interpreter, call the clinic before your appointment, so that staff can arrange for one to be present when you attend.

Emergency dental care

If you have a dental emergency such as facial swelling, bleeding or trauma during business hours, contact your local community clinic. See the SA Dental Service dental clinic list (PDF 45KB) for contact details.
