A1 When is the new Adelaide Dental Hospital opening?

The new Adelaide Dental Hospital is opening on 26 June 2017.

Services at Frome Road will cease on 9 June 2017 in preparation for the transfer.Emergency dental services will still be available between 13 and 23 June 2017.

When your next appointment is made, you will be notified of the location of your appointment.

From 26 June 2017 onwards, all appointments will be at the new location on North Terrace.

A3 Where is the new Adelaide Dental Hospital located?

The new Adelaide Dental Hospital is located on levels 10, 11 and 12 of the new Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences Building, on the corner of North Terrace and George Street. The new building is located between SAHMRI (South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute) and the new University of South Australia building.

A4 How do I access the new hospital?

Detailed information about access to the new Adelaide Dental Hospital is available on the website at www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/sadental, including public transport information, off-site parking and a map to access the new building.

Disability drop-off and pick-up

Two 10-minute loading zones and four two-hour disability parking bays are located on the south-side of North Terrace, directly opposite the University of Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences Building and in close proximity to the pedestrian crossing.

Two 15-minute restricted access parking bays are located at the back of the University of Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences Building, on the lower ground level. These parking bays are accessible via George Street, off North Terrace. The lower ground level entrance into the building is signed and leads directly to the lifts to access the Adelaide Dental Hospital on levels 10,11 and 12.

Public transport

The new Adelaide Dental Hospital has bus, tram and rail networks nearby. For the most up-to-date public transport information, please call the Adelaide Metro Infoline on 1300 322 108 or visit the Adelaide Metro website.

Offsite car parks
