Australia’s first interactive website of national cancer control data
22 November 2017
Cancer Australia has launched the National Cancer Control Indicators (NCCI) website - Australia’s first interactive website of national data across the continuum of cancer control: http://ncci.canceraustralia.gov.au
NCCI presents a set of 31 indicators for monitoring national cancer trends and benchmarking internationally across the continuum of cancer care, from Prevention and Screening through to Diagnosis, Treatment, Psychosocial care, Research and Outcomes.
The NCCI website is a unique centralised, adaptive and evolving hub of national cancer data. Users can choose the type and depth of information relevant to their enquires through more than 160 interactive charts that provide a visual representation of each indicator. The NCCI website represents a significant advance in how population‑based cancer data in Australia is consolidated and presented and it is designed to be updated and incorporate new sources of national data as they become available.
