SA Health’s electronic health record, EPAS, has been in use since August 2013 and is being progressively implemented across South Australian public hospitals and health services.
Designed and configured by SA Health to align with its local business model, it will provide the foundation for delivering South Australia’s state-wide electronic health record (EHR), and is a key enabler for many of SA Health major health reforms.
As with any ICT system, EPAS will continue to evolve and change over time to suit SA Health’s business requirements. Staff are actively encouraged to participate in identifying areas for improvement within the system to bring functionality enhancements that support our models of care.
