Australian Medicines Handbook for mobile phones is a web-based version of AMH for access via the web browser on selected smart phones with internet access (Not freely available. Individual purchase required).

Epocrates by Epocrates develops clinical information and decision support tools that enable healthcare professionals to find answers more quickly and confidently at the point of care (Some free applications with a cost for premium access).

NEJM this week contains the latest medical research findings and review articles on a wide variety of topics (Freely available through iTunes).
 

Mental health

 

PsychTerms contains a rich selection of 1000+ frequently used psychiatric and mental health terms, phrases and definitions - concisely written for quick and easy review (Freely available from iTunes).

 

Nursing

 

Nursing Central will allow you to access information on diseases, test, and procedures; then consult the comprehensive database of 5,000 drugs or refer to more than 60,000 dictionary terms whenever you have a question. Search MEDLINE or keep up with your favourite nursing journals by having tables of content delivered directly to your mobile device (Cost involved).
