SA Health Partnering with Consumers and Community Advisory Group

The SA Health Partnering with Consumers and Community Advisory Group (PDF 67KB) established in 2013 includes member representation from:

  • the Health Consumers Alliance SA
  • the Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner
  • the consumers
  • each local health networks, including:
    • SA Ambulance Service
    • Drug and Alcohol Service
  • SA Health including:
    • Mental Health and Substance Abuse
    • Service Development
    • Nursing and Midwifery Office
    • Safety and Quality Unit

Role

The role of the Advisory Group is to ensure that health services practice in accord with the Standard 2 – Partnering with Consumers and the Australian Safety and Quality Framework for consumer centred care.
