Expanding services in the north (update)
CALHN to NALHN service realignments are continuing with a full range of specialities now offered in the north.
This transition of work is helping to ensure people in the north and north-eastern suburbs receive excellent care closer to home by specialist clinicians and services.
The following new/increased services are available at the Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals:
- Breast Endocrine
- Medical Oncology
- Upper Gastrointestinal Tract (GIT)
- Ear, Nose and Throat (limited service at this time)
If you have a patient who requires a referral to one of these services, you can now refer them to either the Lyell McEwin Hospital or Modbury Hospital to ensure they receive specialist treatment to the hospital catchment they are in. An easy reference by postcode is provided below.
