Scholarships are offered to full time students currently studying or about to commence an undergraduate degree at university in a relevant discipline, and who have resided in rural South Australia prior to undertaking their tertiary education.
The Country Health SA undergraduate scholarship provides students with $5000 per year paid in two half payments of $2500 for up to four years’ study for their undergraduate degree.
Scholarship recipients are required to work for Country Health SA upon completion of their undergraduate degree for a period equivalent to the period of scholarship funding they receive.
Scholarships may be awarded for the following disciplines:
- Registered Nursing
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Pathology

The Country Health SA Scholarship 2019 intake for applications has now closed.
The Port Lincoln Scholarship intake for applications has now opened. Applications close Saturday, 20 October 2018.
Please Note: Port Lincoln applicants who have applied for a CHSALHN Scholarship will also be considered for the Port Lincoln Health Advisory Council Scholarship and do not need to reapply.
