Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner Scholarship

Country Health SA is committed to providing a range of high quality health services in rural and remote South Australia to meet the needs of South Australians residing in country areas. Scholarships are awarded in relevant disciplines to meet workforce needs are intended for Country Health SA employees who have a strong commitment to future or continued professional practice in rural and remote areas.

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner Scholarship is offered to permanent employees of Country Health SA who are currently studying or about to commence a Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice (HLT40213) which will lead to the student, upon graduation, being fully qualified to commence clinical practice as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner.

The Scholarship provides employees with funding for one year of study.
This Scholarship is only open to employees of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
