Surgical Team Safety Checklist

A SA Health Surgical Team Safety Checklist has been developed by the SA Health Surgical Taskforce.

For implementation the following tools were provided to SA Health sites:

• Surgical Team Safety Checklist Poster (PDF 255KB)
• Surgical Team Safety Checklist Frequently Asked Questions (PDF 112KB)
• MR87 Surgical Team Safety Checklist (PDF 125KB) 
• A DVD showing the effective use of the Checklist. (see below)

The release of the Checklist was accompanied by the Surgical Team Safety Checklist Policy Directive.
