Congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives (CATSINaM) Conference Scholarships

The Nursing and Midwifery Office (NMO) is offering up to eight scholarships for SA Health employed, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives to attend the 2018 Congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives (CATSINaM) Conference in Adelaide. The 2018 CATSINaM Professional Development Conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel Adelaide from 17 to19 September 2018.

CATSINaM is the sole representative body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives in Australia. CATSINaM’s primary function is to implement strategies to increase the recruitment and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples into nursing and midwifery professions.

The 2018 CATSINaM Professional Development Conference brings together delegates to share information while working towards an integrated approach to improving the outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

Applications for the 2018 SA Health Nursing and Midwifery CATSINaM Conference Scholarship open on 26 March 2018 and close at 5pm Friday April 20 2018.

All applications should be submitted to the Nursing and Midwifery Office Scholarship inbox at Health.NursingandMidwiferyOfficeScholarships@sa.gov.au

Applications close at 5pm Friday 20 April 2018; late applications will not be accepted.
