Proposed SMOEA 2017
SA Health/Office for Public Sector and SASMOA have reached agreement in principle for a proposed new Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement.
In line with the Fair Work Act 1994, a ballot of all medical officer employees covered by the new Enterprise Agreement will be conducted to determine whether employees accept the proposed new Enterprise Agreement.
SASMOA will conduct a ballot of its members while SA Health is offering those employees who are not SASMOA members the opportunity to vote through a supplementary ballot.
The ballot opens Friday 1 December 2017 and closes at 5pm Friday 8 December 2017.
Ballots will be counted at close of business on Thursday 14 December 2017.
It is anticipated that a preliminary ballot result will be available on Friday 15 December 2017.
If you are a SASMOA member, you will receive a ballot directly from SASMOA. You are not eligible to cast another vote via the SA Health supplementary ballot.
If you wish to cast a vote in relation to the proposed Agreement, you can collect a ballot paper with a reply paid envelope from any of the following areas:
