Aboriginal employment

The health of Aboriginal people in South Australia is a priority for the SA Government.

SA Health offers a variety of employment opportunities and an extensive choice of areas for specialisation and advancement for professionals who want to work in Aboriginal health in South Australia.

If you have skills, experience or a degree in medicine, the arts, Aboriginal health, administration, business, sociology, psychology or another health-related discipline, you can contribute towards making improvements in Aboriginal health in South Australia.

The Aboriginal Health Branch in SA Health works with all regions and the Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia (AHCSA) to improve Aboriginal health.

We offer programs leading into employment such as traineeships, cadetships, scholarships and school-based apprenticeships.
