Berri Hospital redevelopment

The $41 million Berri Hospital Redevelopment is the largest State Government funded capital works project in Country Health SA.

With works beginning in June 2011 and scheduled to finish in late 2013, the redeveloped hospital will bring more health services closer to where people live.

In addition to recovery services such as mental health, rehabilitation, chemotherapy and renal dialysis being offered at the hospital, facilities will be enhanced, allowing more people to be treated at Berri and reducing the need for Riverlanders to travel to Adelaide.
