Expression of Interest for FUNLHN Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Artist

The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network (FUNLHN) are seeking Expression of Interest for a local Aboriginal artist to provide a piece of artwork for the Continuity of Care Project.

The Continuity of Care Project focuses on supporting Aboriginal mums navigate through the health system providing culturally safe and continuous care pre and post-natal.

The artwork will be purchased by FUNLHN and used in relevant publications, uniforms, lanyards, stationery etc as part of the Continuity of Care Project.

Requirements

  • Artwork must relate to the birthing journey of Aboriginal mums and children's (ages 0-4) health.
  • Artist must be local to the Flinders and Upper North regions (Port Augusta, Whyalla, Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Leigh Creek, Marree)
  • Artist must be willing to work with the FUNLHN Aboriginal Health Team, Continuity of Care Project Coordinators, and graphic designers. 


How to apply

  • Provide a short paragraph of the vision for your artwork, including colours and styles.
  • Provide images of previous artwork (up to 3 pieces)
  • Provide concept designs along with a supporting statement/story.
  • Provide a quote for a canvas 100cm x75cm (40” x 30”)
  • Send your Expression of Interest to Health.FUNLHNAboriginalHealthUnit@sa.gov.au
  • Complete the Expression of Interest Registration Form.
