Medicare Mental Health
The national Medicare Mental Health phone line and website helps you access the mental health and wellbeing resources and services that are right for you. It makes it easier to navigate and choose the most suitable care options, whether that’s face-to-face, over the phone, or online.
You can make a free call to 1800 595 212 between 8.30 am to 5.00 pm weekdays (except public holidays) and be connected with a trained mental health professional.
Medicare Mental Health Centres
Medicare Mental Health Centres provide free mental health information, services and supports in person.
They are staffed by teams of trained mental health workers and people who have been through mental health challenges themselves. They will listen and work with you to provide you with the care you need.
These walk-in services offer immediate support with no referral, appointment or Medicare card required.
